Sharing a retreat with Lila is like stepping into a bubble of serenity: with all her sensitivity and kindness, she passes on her knowledge and love for the well-being of body and mind through yoga sessions in which each posture has meaning and enables us to move forward in our quest for spirituality and tranquility. And what can I say about her sound journeys: my mind still remembers them, and all I have to do is close my eyes to hear the gentle sound of the crystal bowl, the power of the drum or the vibrations of the Tibetan bowl. But her love of well-being goes far beyond that: she also knows how to let us enjoy the beauty of this region, and how to find places in the heart of nature where, after a hike, we can let ourselves be carried away by the calm current of a river, and then let ourselves be caressed by the sun’s rays as we lie on the rocks. And what can we say about the massages: Lila is surely a magician sent by the universe, her hands able to relax you and release old and new tensions. In just 40 minutes, she can give you a feeling of renewal, like coming back to life, a second birth. Fatima’s love of people and cooking, and her kindness, took us on a journey through her dishes, which subtly combined recipes from her homeland with physical and spiritual well-being, giving us an explosion of flavours at every meal. If the sun had a name, it would be Lorraine. Every day, at every moment, she brightened our days with her good humor, her attentions and her bursts of laughter. And Amel, so discreet, whose complacency and smile helped make our stay simply extraordinary. For my part, these shared moments allowed me, like the caterpillar that becomes a butterfly, to become the real Michelle again: light, free with a touch of madness, always accompanied by a touch of sensitivity. Honestly, I’m happy and downright proud to have given myself this gift. What more can I say? I think every woman, at least once in her life, should go on a retreat with Lila, whatever the reason (to free herself, to find herself…), because we are all warriors and proud of it. I can’t thank you enough, Lila, Fatima, Lorraine, Amel and, of course, all the warriors who shared these moments with me.
